A couple of weeks ago I saw @lettersbyelise’s ‘Drarry Writers Class of 2018’ celebrating the writers who had posted their first drarry fics in the past year (check out that post for some great recs). I thought this was an awesome idea, so I put together this list of the ‘Phandom Writers Class of 2018!’
One of my favorite parts of being in the phandom has been reading all of the incredible fic all of y’all write. I hope this list can help folks find new fic and new authors, and celebrate all of the awesome first-time (phan)fic authors who shared their work with us this year. The list below includes 67 authors who posted their first phanfic in 2018, with a link to their favorite self-rec. This google doc also has the list, as well as fic summaries and links to AO3 accounts.
Thank you to everyone who sent in their info and everyone who reblogged to help spread the word, especially @alittledizzy for her help circulating the list. And of course, congratulations to the Phandom Writers Class of 2018! I know it takes a lot of time and courage to put your writing out there on the internet, and I’m so glad I got the chance to read it!
Also, I fully plan to do another one for 2019 at the end of the year if there’s interest, so if you haven’t started writing fic yet but you’ve been thinking about it, 2019 seems like a great year to start!
Happy reading!

People are constantly mixing up or confusing anxiety attacks and panic attacks
I know this post won’t get a lot of notes and a lot of people probably won’t see it but I think it’s important and I wanna make sure that at least a few people see it
Feel free to add more if you know any
I would reblog this so people actually know the difference because again, I think it’s important
